They're based on Steve Barkan saying so. He's the guy who creates the
cards. What he said, and I'm paraphrasing because it's been months since I read
it, was that if he was going to re-do any season in which Clemente played (like
he did 1971 a year ago) he would give him a -6 arm. He said that since none of
Clemente's seasons other than 1958 are likely to ever be re-done feel free to
make the changes yourself. Scratch out the 5 and write 6 on his card, edit it
in the computer game, whatever. None of the leagues I'm in have done this as of
yet but I wouldn't have a problem with it if they did. I saw him play. The -6
is legit.
