Hey, Todd, welcome to the group! Sorry it took so long to greet you. :-)
Welcome back to Strat. I and some others here also were hard-core
Strat fans as kids who came back to the game. It seems to be common.
That the game has noticeably improved its realism without bogging
down play *too* much with new rules is one reason why Strat is
remarkably successful at wooing back former kid customers who are now
middle-aged family guys. At least in my case.
Now that the real-life season is almost over and I'm not distracted
by *real* baseball, I'm sure I'll be playing a lot more! Except my
games will have the 2005 Cleveland Indians, which already have little
resemblance to the rookie-infested second-division team that wrapped
up play earlier this month. Oh well. :-)
