Ok, this is probably a really dumb question, but I don't get pitchi   Message List

I know I should get the board game and re-learn my rules, but its now
been a number of years since... anyway, how do I find out about a
pitchers injury rating? Its easy with a hitter, I can see on the
card. I remember that there was a (non-advanced?) rule having to do
with the DH at bat, and maybe 6-12 dice roll with the pitcher up in
the NL. I'm assuming from the results of playing lo these many years,
that there must be individual pitcher injuries ratings in play. Has
anyone got the secret decoder ring?

Thanks Dean and Gary. That's what I remember, and by the way I did complain in 1973, since I had the NL and my friend had the AL, and he never had any...

... All other things being equal, yes. Of course, you can ensure your pitcher is *never* injured by never letting him pitch to the DH. :-) ... It's your...

Back when I played the manual game, I never noticed this. It's only been in the computer game that it seems to happen. I wonder if PC game fans have noticed...
