Tri-State League Opening   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #119 of 700 |
The Tri-State league is completing its 5th season, and expects to have
1 or 2 openings for next season. We are a ten-team AL-only keeper
league (with a limitation of NL players being retained), using super-
advanced rules, and playing a 154 game schedule. Most teams are based
in Northern New Jersey, but we have members in Eastern Pennsylvania and
New York's Hudson Valley. All games are played face-to-face with the
computer game. We make heavy use of email and egroups for posts to keep
the membership current and informed about league events.

We only protect 18 and only draft carded players which enables the
weaker teams and/or new managers to rebuild quickly IF they are
competent. Overall, this is probably the most talented and knowledgable
group of managers with whom I've been associated.

Our managers range in age from about 33 to about 52. Most of us have
kids and a mortgage, and have been playing SOM for at least 15 years.
The average commitment is about 2 hours per week during the season,
which ranges from February through October. Please reply to this post,
or email me at Tri-State League Membership if you are interested.
