Fellow list members:
The group and I are both still here. Summer was a big distraction, but
now that the beaches and amusement parks are closed and the kids are
back in school, maybe I'll have time to contribute more. :-)
I only recently caught up with some of the goings-on in
Strat-O-Sphere. I noticed in the most recent "Talk Show" that someone
else is complaining about the lack of a re-created 1971 baseball
season. Glenn Guzzo's answer was rather snippy, but at least the
letter was printed. I can only hope that Richman *finally* catches on
that he could make a lot of his customers happy (and make a few bucks
himself) if he would just reprint the season already.

But even more noticeable was Richman's admission a week and a half ago
that the much-ballyhooed Hockey Hall of Fame set was screwed up. Five
of the 26 player-card sheets were printed on the regular, cheap
cardboard instead of the special heavy stock. Oops! Richman apologizes
profusely, but conspicuous in its absence is any mention of
*replacing* the cheap cardboard cards with the good stuff. Now, I'm
not an MBA, but blowing off a problem like this doesn't strike me as
the best way to cultivate customer satisfaction and loyalty.
