Years ago, you used to be able to do an 'out of bounds punt' (-10 yards off
result, no return). No one in the NFL seems to be able to do it anymore (like
it's a lost art), so I assume you can't.

That being said-- I had a punt go to opponents 2 yd line. Roll was a fair catch.
Obviously no returner would call a FC on the 2- they'd more than likely run away
and let ball (hopefully) go into end zone.

Also, is there such a thing as a 'squib' kickoff? Say near the end of a close
game you don't want to kick it to a Dante Hall. Are there any options?

Is there a more advanced timing system for under 2 minutes? In the Pros, they
execute many plays that take less than 15 seconds- sideline passes, spike the
ball, etc.

What are your thoughts?

PS- my kids love the game- puts Madden 04 to shame.
