Don't know what fainéant means, but I am too lazy to look it up ;-)

I cut FL trip short and am now back in New Jersey earlier than
planned.  Although I just arrived back, my inactivity already makes
me feel like a humdrum fainéant.  I was wondering if anyone or had
any free time or wanted to hang out.

They gave us bigger lockers in Big Blue.. down stairs... not in the
guys locker room... sorry Missy!

I will be in Richman VA on Thursday Dec 9th so there will be no
fencing practice that night. Turn out was light tonight so I don't
feel guilty about not being there that night :-þ

I understand the College will be closed the following week so I won't
be seeing you guys till next semester.

The Fencing Club has new lockers. They are located in the "Team
Locker Room Area". If you come thru the normal entrance, past the
person sitting at the front desk and go thru the first door in front
of you into the main guy, the Team Locker Room door is the first door
on your left. Have the front desk person call the main person in
charge that night to unlock the door for you. The lockers are a
little way down that hallway on the right. If we got it right the two
locks are the old 197 and 198.

I know Missy will be disappoint not being able to go into the men's
locker room any more, but she my find some interesting people in the
team locker room ;-)

As far as I know we do.  Oh and don't forget to email
your resume to Paul if you haven't gotten to it yet.

Oh that email you sent the other (man of the year) day
was great!

I am always hungry after fencing.  Does anybody want to get a bite to
eat after our lesson on Thurs?

Also for those I haven't told yet. I picked up a guy in the men's
locker room.  His name is Sean and he said he is going to come this
Thurs. It's a pity we are getting those new lockers soon.  I really
enjoy going into to the men's locker room to ... um recruit new
members.

We are a go for tonight.  The thing is the Cheerleaders are also
scheduled for mondays so we will have to see if fencers and
cheerleaders can co-exist.....

We may not be in the same spot as usual because of the peppy
cheerleaders so look around for practice.  We will have it tonight.

I would like to invite everyone to look at the Calendar here in our
yahoo group.  There will be two noticeable changes.

First is I have listed several fencing meets (so far most of them
are in the DC area, I'll try to find some for this area).  Look at the
meets now, and let's discuss via yahoo group what meets you
would like to attend.  If you let me know in a week someone will
go to Paul Chambers and we will get official clearance to travel
as a club.

Secondly you will see that I have listed Monday nights as a
practice night.  This Monday we will try to practice from 7:00 to
930.  Each Monday after we will meet at our normal 730- 10.

Officially I have not cleared this with the powers that be…(Paul
Chambers) but this is what we are going to attempt.  Please
check this yahoo group before you try to come to practice on
Monday, just to make sure we are allowed to meet.

The reason we will be meeting on Mondays AND Thursdays now
is that we have had someone volunteer to take over instruction
on Thursday nights for me.  Thanks to Bruce Canino we will be
able to fence two nights a week (Provided Paul Chambers lets
Bruce come and help)

Bruce was the Stockton Fencing Coach about 20 years ago and
is hoping to bring back a bit of the magic that made Stockton
State College a hot bed of fencing all those years ago.

I was informed of last week's cancellation while I was leaving
work in Philly.  Jenn was kind enough to try and inform everyone
as quickly as possible.  There was nothing I could do about the
very poor timing of the cancellation.

I hope everyone understands and I look forward to seeing
everyone this Thursday.  Provided the girls Volleyball team has
lost.

We're an intramurals sport or club. We should be able to get approved. If
shit like this keeps happening, let me talk to Tom Modano or Diane Hill
about this. They work in the Studnet Development office in Upper G.

of yahoogroups.  I have added a link to the USFA.  It is a link that
every US fencer should be familiar with.  They provide links on
where one can fence, where you can purchase equipment and
supplies and also has information resources that provide things
like printable USFA rule books.
