What a exciting World Championship! I'm so pleased about it all, and as far as the ladies' championship is concerned, well, I won't put in the name of the winner now, as then I would have to add spoiler space - but she is my very favorite female skater - and I'm soooo happy that she has won. :-D
I'm very happy for Caro too - and I wish that Elena Sokolova, one of my favorites along with Caro and Sasha Cohen, would have placed higher. :-)
Here in California, we're going to see the ladies' short program, free skate, and the dance free skate, starting at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon.
I LOVE hearing the Russian National Anthem; it's so beautiful, which we heard during the ceremony for the pairs.
And I was so happy to hear the Swiss National Anthem the other night - LOL. ;-)
