to all that helped with the snow show..thank you ,you all did a wonderful job.we are tallying up the final numbers and will have a report for you all in a few days.. we had a good turn out for potentially new members. they are being contacted by bill O'Conner and Jill. look for the evite to the applicant party on November 19th at the knights of Columbus in Latham. we talked to all the mountains and they we very pleased to talk to bill and I. we have a very good outlook on the upcoming ski season.tell any one you no who skis to come to the party.we have a menu of pizza ,wings ,cheese&crackers platter ,veggie platter.and some light chips and salsa far planned for food .if any one wants to bring something feel free.. contact me through email to let me know.. thank you Chris.

I'm unable to work or plan the Applicant Party & need someone to take over. I have an obligation that I've committed to so anyone who is ready, willing and able, please speak up so we can make this new applicant party a success!

Please attend Thursday's meeting (Oct 29th) at the Knight's of Columbus so we can finalize the SnowShow.

I also need someone to run next Thursday's meeting (Nov 5th) because I will be in Syracuse for work. I will be back for Friday morning's SnowShow setup & will send out reminder emails to those who signed up to work.

Hi Chris,

I have a number of people who are interested in joining a ski club this winter. There's a lot of talk about the "Out of Control Ski Club," but I keep telling them about SSC. I know last year we struggled with getting enough people to fill the bus. I can't promise that they'll attend every weekend, but it will definitely help us with filling the bus.

How can I get them involved? If I send you their names and e-mails can we add them to the distribution list?

Also how does it work for the first year? How much is the applicant fee? When is it due? Ect.?

I guess any information you have that I can provide to recruit people would be helpful.

hello campers summers over.what we had of it.well hello are first meeting will be sep 17 at 700 pm at the knights of columbas on rt2 in latham. we have alot to take care of and fast. their has been alot of buissnes takeing place this summer, i have been in contact with bus companys the snow show insurance companys even had a meeting with a new member who is willing to try to get us sponsership,i have had help with other club members on all this to.we also will need dues paid up. we have a dinner planed . please all be at the meeting ,their is some voteing involved in this meeting too.. thank you chris.....

b the base ball raffel is over ... every one did very well... we beat my estement on the raffel. thank you....i will have a final total and tax report after our buissness meeting.....this is a late thank you because i have been moveing my parents to myrtle beach.... home of the summer meeting..........this club is moveing, in the last few months we have all steped up to the plate and helped out....this is only going to get stronger. i like the ideas and strategys i have been told on doing some of the club buissness...were going to make it work..... thank you chris.see you all soon every ones work is all being noticed .......

This year we will be having another baseball ticket raffle
fundraiser.

SSCALBANY is raffling off Box Seats to the Boston Red Sox /
NY Yankees game on June 11.  There will be 2 drawings, each one for
2 box seats on the 1st base side.   So, you will have 2 chances
to win..

Only 150 raffle tickets are being sold.  The tickets are $20 each. Selling all
of these tickets becomes very important if we want to continue to have all those
great ski bus deals that we really look forward to.

The tickets will be available at our next meeting on Thursday,
Apr 9 at 7 PM at the Knights of Columbus on Route 2.   If you
are not at the KOC by 8 PM, Bill O'Connor will be calling you
to arrange a date / time to get the tickets to you.  Please
arrange your schedule to be at the KOC on April 9.  If you would
like to call Bill to arrange a pickup time, please call him at
424-4004.

SSCALBANY elections will be held on Thursday, April 2 at
the annual business meeting for the following positions:

* President - we need to elect a new President. I've been President
for the past 3 years and according to the by-laws of the constitution, I have to
step aside.
* VP of Skiing
* Treasurer
* Communications Director
* Five (5) Board Members

Itis very important that all members attend these meetings.
This is your chance to voice your concerns and vote on the
future of SSCALBANY. All dues paying members /lifetime
members  can vote for who and how the club operates for the
next year.

Club Members have to be nominated to the position and they have to accept the
nomination. Then the membership votes on people who were
nominated.

These will be the people who make choices on what the club will do and
how it is done for the next year. Club Members need to come to these meetingsto
put forth what they want from SSCALBANY and to show support for those who
give their time to make things happen in the club.

The meetings will be at 7 pm at the Knights of Columbus on
Route 2 in Latham, NY. East of the circle.
