It is my pleasure to announce the testing results from yesterday's
Green Tip Test conducted at our Ueshiro Suntree YMCA Karate Dojo in
Florida. Domo Arigato to Sensei Connie for assisting me conduct
yesterday's test and on a weekly basis teach our classes.

Promoted to Go-Kyu: Vincent Addessi and his son Chris Addessi

Promoted to Ro-Kyu: Juliana Kreul and her son Andrew Kreul

It is interesting to note how effective Sensei Kaplan's research and
approach to family training partners continues to prove itself. The
testing results above is an example. Sensei Kaplan's research paper on
this topic is attached the bottom of this e-mail, for those who may
not have seen it a few years ago; Sensei Kaplan is a 6th degree Black
Belt with Ueshiro SRKUSA and Shihan of the Penn State College Dojo and
PhD Professor at Penn State.

Almost all of the deshi attending the training/test yesterday were
family members or had previously trained with their family members
(see attached group photo); Addessi family (visiting from Viera Dojo),
Kreul family, Quirion family, Cupoli family, Stahl family, Delgado
family, Laderwarg family, Boyd family (visiting from Viera Dojo),
Rutkowski family, and the Tamir family. Similar to family members, we
also have co-workers training together; Rick Cupoli brought Kevin
Hutchenson from their workplace to our dojo a year ago. Kevin was
also present at yesterday's training/test. We also welcome our newest
student yesterday, Steve Quirion's young brother, Mark Quirion, who is
almost as big as Steve, towering me over 6+ feet. I'm excited about
having such big new training partners to challenge my training:)

We continue on the path set by Master Ueshiro and being forged ahead
by Hanshi Scaglione. Keep training and bring your family members, co-
workers, and friends to discover the great things we accomplish at our
respective dojo[s].
