Onegai Shimasu Hanshi, Kyoshi, Sensei and Deshi,

 

The Ueshiro Cocoa Shorin-Ryu Karate USA Cocoa Dojo conducted a spirited workout and Kyu Level Test on Saturday, 21 February at the Cocoa Brevard Community College YMCA facility.   The 21 February testing results were:

 

Ro-Kyu:          Adivait Menon

Yon-Kyu:         Jordan Moran

                        Travis Culp

 

San-Kyu:        Narcisa Lora

Ik-Kyu:             Matt Snodgrass

 

Also, another Cocoa Deshi, Jacob White, tested for Ro-Kyu at the Ueshiro Suntree Shorin-Ryu Karate Dojo with Sensei Tamir conducting the test on Sunday, 22 February. 

 

The following non-testing Deshi participated in 21 February workout and supported the workout and testing:

It is encouraging to see such an effort for Shorin Ryu Karate as displayed during the test.  It should be recognized that this was made possible by Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro when he brought us this gift in 1962.

 

Arigato to Hanshi Scaglione, Kyoshi and Sensei for continuing the practice of Shorin Ryu Karate, and insuring that it will be kept pure in the tradition of the Grand MasterUeshiro.
