Ueshiro Shorin-ryu Pine Forest Karate School in Palisades New York
Hanshi, on behalf of everyone who attended our February 1, 2009
Workout for all levels and then Dan Level Testing up to San Dan,
Thank you for this opportunity.
Three students were promoted to Ni Dan;
Mr Anil Jaising, Ms. Amy Mager, and Mr. Richy Glassberg.
I would also like to thank all members who shared this opportunity and for their very kind e-mails.
I am looking forward to training with everyone this friday in florida.
Best wishes,
Dave Seeger
Here are just a few of the e-mails:

Reymond Sensei:
Yesterday was really terrific. I really enjoyed the way you worked us through all the kata and giving us food for thought on application of the techniques. Thanks again for inviting me giving me the honor of overseeing the test; it was a learning experience for me as well. You inspire great spirit in you dojo and it shows in your students; I am happy to be a part of it whenever I can.

Moore Sensei:
It was a great day all around.  Domo arigato to Kyoshi Seeger for hosting a very special event and to Sensei Reymond for leading the charge as we put the group through their paces.  The spirit demonstrated by those testing (the spirit and patience) achieved the highest level of karate-do.  A special Arigato to the deshi of Northampton who toughed it out right to the end contributing to the spirit of the event and special Arigato to the kyu-rank who joined us as well and helped make the day a total success.  Last but not least, a very special domo arigato to Dana Reymond (Sensei Reymond's wife).  She had a different day planned other than waiting the length of it for Sensei to come home.  We cannot acknowledge enough and too often the contribution made by friends and family to the success of our individual training and to SRKUSA as a whole.  Domo arigato to all.

Margulis Sensei:
Thank you for that enlightening training. Although some of the techniques I had not executed as you instructed, they’re new to me, your sugar on their practicality and origins was exciting to learn. And on top of all that, you inspired and empowered me.
Thanks… You made my birthday

Ms. Mary McKitrick, Ni-Dan:
Onegai shimasu Kyoshi,

The visitors from Northampton Ueshiro Karate, namely Sensei Jean Gobillot, Mr. Steve Parsons, Ms. Cathie Parsons,
Ms. Nancy Owen and I wish to thank you for your extraordinary hospitality on the occasion of the black belt review at
the Pine Forest Karate Dojo.  We learned a great deal and went home both energized and humbled.
We are very much looking forward to training with you in March.
Domo arigato gozaimasu Kyoshi
