Subject: [USRKUSA - Deshi]  State College, PA Karate Trip changes to Nov. 1-2

Greetings!!

 

Please note that we are changing the State College, PA karate trip and celebration. It turns out that October 4-5, 2008 is “Parents’ Weekend” at PennState University, and this means that all local hotel rooms are booked. The new dates are November 1-2, 2008 (with some informal activities on Fri., Oct. 31^st). I realize this late change is an inconvenience, and apologize for my oversight. However, the new dates do put us in a great position to plan the memorable karate weekend we have in mind. In addition to following in the tradition of the Northeast Dojo celebrations, we will use this weekend as an opportunity to toast Hanshi’s 70^th Birthday (exact birthday date: October 14, 2008). Please put in a place-holder in your diaries and stay tuned for more information about this weekend.
