> joined us for several days filled with traditional Ueshiro Shorin-
> Ryu Karate training, under the leadership of Hanshi Scaglione. On
> his way to Florida, Sempai Michalski also visited and trained at our
> New York City Hombu Dojo and with Kyoshi Seeger at the Pine Forest
> Karate School in Palisades, New York.

> On Monday evening, Hanshi conducted a special Black Belt workout and
> test at the Ueshiro Suntree YMCA Dojo location, where Sempai
> Michalski was promoted to Shodan (see first photo below ... Sempai

> the test and the board of judges; comprised of Sensei Tezel, Sensei

> Florida deshi were able to experience the SAME quality Ueshiro
> SRKUSA karate training, as taught on the other side of the world,
> thousands of miles away to our Hong Kong deshi.
