Ueshiro Suntree YMCA Karate Dojo,

Plan to attend and participate in a special Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate
USA (SRKUSA) Demonstration on Saturday April 26th, to be led by Hanshi
Robert Scaglione. The demonstration will start at 12:00 Noon on the
soccer fields at the Viera Regional Park, just north of the Avenue
Shopping Center. This demonstration will be part of a large county
event called “Get Active Brevard”, featuring various local sport
groups, associations, and vendors who promote health and well being
via physical activity. Our karate demonstration will essentially be a
full workout lasting 2 hours, ending at 2:00 PM. Bring plenty of
drinking water for yourself. This demo will have special
significance, because it will help us commemorate the birthday of our
founder, Master Ansei Ueshiro (born April 20th, 1933). We expect
sensei, sempai, and deshi (students) from all our local Ueshiro SRKSUA
schools to be participating in this demo. Let's show up in full force
to help make a big statement.

Ueshiro SRKUSA will also have an information booth / table at this
event, to advertise our 5 local karate schools throughout Brevard
county (Viera, Suntree, Cocoa, Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach). The
overall event will start at 10:00 AM and end at 2:00 PM.
Approximately 1,500 people are expected at this event. We need
volunteers to staff our information booth / table from 10:00 AM to
2:00 PM and to take photos of our demonstration from 12:00 Noon to
2:00 PM. Please let me know if you are able to help.

Various gift certificates will be awarded via lottery at this event by
the various participating sponsors, including our Ueshiro SRKUSA
organization. Certificates include free karate memberships at several
of our schools and free private lessons by our Black Belt
instructors. Bring your family and friends and help us recruit new
students.
