Message from Hanshi on new Viera Rec Center location in Florida for
Ueshiro SRKUSA training.

Greetings Kyoshi, Sensei, Sempai, and Deshi:

This Saturday, Ueshiro SRKUSA will be demonstrating our martial art
at the Open House of the new Viera Recreation Center in north
Melbourne, Florida. The Viera Rec Center is located just north of
the Viera Avenue Shopping Center. It is a large gymnasium-like
facility, conveniently located adjacent to my residence. The Viera
Rec Center is operated by the Brevard County Parks & Recreation
Department. Ueshiro SRKUSA has been officially selected by this
county department, to further propagate our art at this new
location. I would like to thank Sensei David Tamir for his continued
efforts & input in securing this location for the UeshiroSRKUSA
Organization.

Please feel free to join me and several of our volunteering Sensei,
Sempai, and Deshi starting at 11:00 AM this Saturday, October 6th.
We will have a table with Ueshiro SRKUSA information and books, and
we will perform several demonstrations throughout the afternoon.

Starting next week on Tuesday, October 9th, I will be conducting
classes three times per week at this new location. Classes will take
place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 PM, and on Saturdays at 10:00
AM. Classes will begin with 15 minutes of informal training,
followed by one hour of formal training, and concluded with another
15 minutes of informal training.

I ask that local (and visiting) Black Belts and Brown Belts assist me
in conducting these classes on a rotational basis. Tamir Sensei will
be assembling shortly a rotational schedule of all available Black
Belts and Brown Belts, such that every class will be lead by the
rotational volunteering instructor and myself.

Moreover, on the last Saturday of every month, I will invite all
Black Belts for special training with me at this new location during
the 10:00 AM class. A Brown Belt will lead the non Black Belt
students concurrently.

This new 5th Florida location will complement our other four Ueshiro
SRKUSA dojo[s] in Brevard County, Florida: at Cocoa YMCA, Cocoa
Beach, Merritt Island Tropical Elementary School, and the Suntree-
Viera YMCA.
