Milan is a world class team and part of that package is having players from all over the world who represent their national teams at international level. Tonight sees a number of friendly internationals and World Cup qualifiers take place, and a number of Rossoneri are duly involved. Italy take on Greece in Athens tonight, and Milan's very own Genaro Gattuso and Daniele Bonera are currently in the Greek capital preparing for the friendly. Brazil is also involved in a prestigious friendly against European heavyweights Portugal, and this match-up will have Alexandre Pato and Ricardo Kaka representing the blue and gold of the Selecao. Marek Jankulovski is another Rossonero on international duty, as the Czech Republic have a World Cup qualifying engagement with San Marino to attend to. The last of the Milan players involved in tonight's senior matches is Uruguayan youngster Mathias Cardacio, who will represent his country in a friendly against France. A few of the Milan players are missing out on tonight's encounters through injury; Andrea Pirlo, Gianluca Zambrotta and perhaps even Marco Borriello may have been called up by Marcello Lippi for the Azzurri had they not picked up knocks.
