Most people wear a wetsuit at Spudman. If this is the only Triathlon you're
ever going to do then it's probably not worth spending $200+ for a new wetsuit.

Some stores will rent a suit or you can buy a used one on eBay. Of course then
you run the risk of getting a suit that someone has... well let's just say
"releived" himself in.

However, if you get the tri bug like the rest of us, then you'll want to get a
good, new, "pee free" triathlon wetsuit. A triathlon wetsuit can not only
provide warmth but buoyancy and speed as well.

Don't worry about the skull cap, they aren't required and not needed.

I'd also recommend PowerTri.com, but I'm biased since I'm the owner ;-)

Feel free to contact me directly if you have any other questions about getting
ready for the Spudman.
