Yeah, it's just you. I think you will like it alright. You CAN pass if you are committed to it. (My opinion) You still have some distance to make a pass once you come out onto the golf course too. (almost as much as before but it ends before the pavement)
We couldn't pass up the opportunity to hopefully improve the finish line.
I hope it doesn't disappoint you too much. I've done the race several times and I typically like to put on a burst and pass some folks after decending onto the golf course. I am not worried about it. :-)
