Re: [spudman] Transitions

Eric..

Most people swim in their biking shorts.  When they remove their wet-suit, if they are wearing one, then they have their biking shorts already on.  Then most people run in their biking shorts too.  This makes the transition faster.

I don't know if people would be offended or not.

Hi, everyone, this is my first spudman, and in fact my first
triathlon, and so I have a question about the transition areas.  I'm
not planning on using any type of specialized triathlon clothing for
the race, and so I need to remove my swim gear, put on my bike shorts,
and then at T2 I'll want to remove my cycling shorts and put on my
running ones.

So to sum up: how will this work?  And will anybody be offended by
brief male nudity?  :-)

Thanks in advance,

- Eric

Do they provide transition bags ( 1 or 2), or do we bring our own?  Also, any word on the chip/seal road - do we have to worry about our tires - is there a...

Thanks, Dave!   My wife and I have been concerned about planning for a new route.  It's kind of nice to know what to plan for mentally ahead of time.  So,...
