My wife and I have been concerned about planning for a new route.  It's kind of
nice to know what to plan for mentally ahead of time.  So, no problems with your
tires out there?

My wife and I took our bikes on the route last Saturday. I didn't notice any
different on the road from the last two times I've ridden on it during the
actual race.

Heck, I don't even know what "chip/seal" really means....but the road seemed
fine to me (except for that dang railroad track!).
