Morning,
I just swam the river course and ran the route this morning with a friend from
Utah and I was showing her where the three water stations are along the run
route. The 1st is at about mile 1.2 or so, the 2nd is at mile 3 or so and the
3rd water station is at about mile five. No need to carry water. There is also
a fire truck at about mile 4 with water to cool off if you want to run under the
spray!

At the start there are many porta potties....but I can't recall when you exit
the water if there are any there (most seasoned triathletes just use the river
before exiting so don't drink any of that river water!)..........when you bike
back into transition you are back at the start area...the majority of the porta
potties are not immediately near the entrance to the bike racking area....and I
can't recall if there is a potty right there at the bike area or not. Maybe we
ought to request one if there isn't!

I do not think there are any out on the run course.

This is my first "Spudman," and I have a couple of questions. I am hoping some
"seasoned Spuders" can answer and put my mind at ease! Are there bathrooms
(portapotties) at the park or in the transition area? Are there any along the
way? How many water stops are along the running route - plenty? or do I need to
carry my own water on the run?
