My husband grew up across the river in Rupert and he'd be the first one to tell
you that unless you know a farmer, there's sadly little to do in Burley. Ever.
Especially on Race Day. You'll see your husband three times - once about 20
minutes after he starts, once about an hour and a half later when he comes
across the bike transition and again about an hour later when he finishes the
run. All three transition areas are pretty close together so you really don't
have to travel far to see him. The transition areas are all near some slides
and things, but you'd be better off to google area parks for kids that small.
Also, bring plenty of water and snacks for you and the kids. There won't be an
opportunity in the transition areas to purchase any of that. If you have any
other questions, let me know. I have a resident expert here in Roy.
