I figure there ought to be SOME small benefit to belonging to this little yahoogroup besides being able to talk with one another about triathlons and such.  Maybe I can feed you a little "behind the scenes" information on the Spudman.  (ha) 

 

Registration opened at noon today for the extra 300 that were on the waiting list.  45 people/teams have followed through and have registered as of 10:47pm PST.

 

There have been a small number of "withdrawls" from the race over the last few days also.  I'd guess about 3. 

 

It will be interesting to see how many more people beyond the 300 on the waiting list get to essentially move up, as a result of withdrawls or people not following through on their non-refundable 2nd chance registration.
