I’m attending my first ECSS conference this year, in Oslo, Wed-Sat June
24-27. The main aim of the visit is to build relationships with European
sport scientists, but I’m finding it’s a bad time of the year to visit
labs. So I’m going to arrive a day or two early and be available to have
informal meetings with research students and anyone else who wants advice or
interaction on design and analysis. If there’s enough interest we can turn
it into master classes on the Tuesday and/or Wednesday. I’ve just
experienced a couple of short sessions like that here at the AIS, where I am
visiting. They’re good fun and valuable for everyone, especially if a few
other greybeards can come along.
Please get back to me if you are interested. It’s free and unsponsored.
