programs, is respected for its ability to develop future international
cricketers. An opportunity has arisen at the elite level within Australian
Cricket for a Physiotherapist to
be based at the COE in
Reporting jointly
to the Sport Science Sport Medicine Manager and the Australian Team
Physiotherapist, you will have responsibility for:
- Providing world’s best physiotherapy
services to CA high performance programs including AIS Men’s and
Women’s programs, the Australian Women’s Team, Australia A and
the Australian youth squads;
- Deputise on occasion for the Australian Men’s team
physiotherapist;
- Provide physiotherapy services to COE specialist
skill programs and camps;
- Coordinating the CA National Physiotherapy
Working Group and its processes;
- Coordinating the Case Management process for
injured CA and AIS contracted players; and
- Contributing to Cricket Australia Research,
Development and Education initiatives and staying up to date with
world’s best practice in sports physiotherapy.
Your previous
experience as a physiotherapist for an elite sporting team as well as relevant
post graduate tertiary qualifications will enable you to hit the ground
running. You will have exceptional attention to detail, superior communication
skills and the ability to innovate. You will take pride in providing physical
preparation and injury rehabilitation programs to all high performance cricket
players.

The objective of the Cricket Australia’s Centre of
Excellence is to ensure the ongoing success of future Australian cricket
teams, specifically providing current and promising cricketers with ongoing
support, coaching and technical assistance. An opportunity has arisen at the
elite level within Australian Cricket for a part-time Sport Dietitian to be based at the Centre of
Excellence in
Reporting to the Sport Science Sport Medicine Manager, you will work
with all levels of Australian high performance cricket to deliver a world best
sport nutrition program. Working with the Australian Men’s and
Women’s Teams, the AIS Men’s and Women’s Programs, CA Youth
Representative Teams and CA Umpires, your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and
implement comprehensive individualised
nutrition plans for high performance cricketers;
- Work with coaches,
management and other support staff to develop plans for food, hydration
and supplements when elite squads are in camp and on tour;
- Establish a network
of Sport Dietitians with State Cricket Associations; and
- Contribute to
Cricket
and Australian Institute of Sport research, education and training initiatives.Australia
This two year part time contract position (envisaged to be 1.5 days a
week) requires a highly credentialed and experienced Sport Dietitian with
excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. A track record of
providing elite sport nutrition services will be an advantage. If you are
