This is to make you aware of a Sport Nutrition conference the day before the annual ACSM meeting in Indianapolis (27th of May 2008). Here is some more information, for detailed information please visit: http://www.nutrifit.co.uk/Conference_Indianapolis_2008/

What?

Sports Nutrition conference with the aim to translate science into practical applications

Where?

Hyatt Regency hotel Indianapolis.

When?

27th of May 2008

The goal

The main goal of the conference is to discuss new developments in the area of sports nutrition and to come up with a set of guidelines, based on the latest evidence. Often guidelines are very vague and therefore not very useful. Here we will try to be more specific and produce some guidelines that athletes and coaches can apply immediately. Translating theory into practice is going to be the main theme of the conference. We will have a relatively small audience and top speakers, and there will be a lot of interaction. Amongst the participants will be many of the world’s leading sports nutritionists and dieticians as well as coaches and athletes. Tim Deboom 2-time Ironman world champion will also join the panel discussions.

Speakers

Speakers include Louise Burke, John Hawley, Mark Tarnopolsky, Trent Stellingwerff, Stuart Phillips and Asker Jeukendrup.

Louise Burke and Asker Jeukendrup

Registration

Registration fee is £125 (approximately US$250 )
