I watched the Superbowl the other night
and I was disappointed that the Patriots lost, but the Giants played well.
Sometimes the ideal fails to materialize but the underdog does better than
expected.
I wish more employers and hiring managers would realize
this. There are so many positions that go unfilled because the ideal
candidate fails to materialize, while qualified candidates go unnoticed.
One way to make sure that you get noticed is to
make sure your CV tackles the job requirements for the position
