The Department of Exercise Science at Skidmore College
invites applications for a full-time, nine month position as Visiting Teaching Associate for the
academic year 2007-08.
A Master’s degree in Exercise and Health Science (or closely related discipline) is required and a Ph.D.
is preferred. Previous laboratory teaching experience and knowledge of laboratory
equipment and exercise testing procedures is expected. Responsibilities
will include 1) teaching three to four laboratory sections of Introduction to
Exercise Science or Human Anatomy and Physiology per semester, 2) overseeing
data collection for student research, and 3) assisting with departmental
responsibilities.
