Concerning my message last week...

So far I have received only one reply from anyone intending to submit an
abstract under the heading of biostatistics. It was to be a report of a
meta-analysis. Unfortunately he then got back to me with the news that his
co-authors would rather submit it under the discipline-specific heading.

I am intending to submit an abstract on sample-size estimation based on
adequate precision and clinical errors. So that's only one abstract so
far. We need half a dozen to make a session. Please make an effort to put
something in, and let me know if you are.
