The School of Exercise, Biomedical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan
University in Perth, Western Australia seeks high quality applicants in
the areas of Anatomy/Care and Prevention of Injury, Biomechanics and
Exercise Physiology. The Anatomy/Care and Prevention of Injury
appointment will be at the Associate Lecturer Level (Level A - $51,564
to $69,951 pa), while both the Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology
positions will be at the Associate Professor Level (Level D - $108,510
to $119,544 pa).

ASSOCIATE LECTURER (LEVEL A) - ANATOMY/CARE AND PREVENTION OF INJURIES

Ongoing position, commencing in January 2006

The School of Exercise, Biomedical and Health Sciences has excellent
facilities and leading undergraduate and postgraduate teaching supported
by extensive research activities in a collaborative and collegial
working environment.

The successful applicant will undertake a teaching role in the
Anatomy/Care and Prevention Units at the undergraduate and postgraduate
levels.

The successful applicant will possess at least a Honours or Masters
degree in a relevant discipline and demonstrate a commitment to research
and evidence of study towards a Doctoral degree.

This position attracts remuneration of $51,564 to $69,951 pa including
University superannuation contribution, with a salary component of
$44,072 to $59,787 pa.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (LEVEL D) - BIOMECHANICS

Ongoing position commencing in January 2006

The Exercise and Sports Science program is one of the university's most
successful and expanding areas. We have excellent facilities and
leading undergraduate and postgraduate teaching supported by extensive
research activities in a collaborative and collegial working
environment.

The successful applicant will undertake a leadership role in the
Biomechanics discipline in terms of teaching (at the undergraduate and
postgraduate levels), research and supervision of Honours, Masters and
PhD students. The Biomechanics laboratory is equipped to world class
standard and details may be obtained from the website

Applicants must have a relevant PhD and be able to demonstrate extensive
success in attracting research grants, leading research teams and also
have a significant research publication profile.

This position attracts remuneration of $108,510 to $119,544 pa including
University superannuation contribution, with a salary component of
$92,744 to $102,174 pa.
