Applications are invited for the position of Senior Lecturer based in the School of Science at the University of Greenwich at Medway. The University of Greenwich at Medway is a major regional, national and international centre of research and consultancy expertise, offering high-tech research and science facilities. Centre for Sport and Exercise Science is part of the newly formed School of Science and was relocated to new specialist laboratories at the Medway Campus two years. Facilities for teaching and research in sport and exercise biomechanics, physiology, nutrition and injury rehabilitation are excellent.
You should be an enthusiastic and highly motivated sports scientist with a preferred specialism in sport/exercise physiology. You will be expected to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, participate fully in course and curriculum development, supervise research students, undertake high quality research, obtain external funding and participate fully in the administration of the department, especially recruitment activities. You should have a postgraduate qualification in sport/exercise physiology or a closely related area, a developing research profile (high quality publications and external funding), experience of supervising postgraduate research students, experience of teaching and course development in Higher Education.
Salary scale £28360 - £36428 per annum
