Dear Jenn,

Highest recorded VO2 max of  96 ml./kg/min was reported for Norwegian Skier . I can not remember the exact reference but it might be  mentioned in Astrand’s  Work Physiology.    I , myself, had recorded highest 82 ml/kg/.min for Russian athletes at Moscow. I  will request the author claiming so high value for further  verification and if it is accurate then it would  be a new dimension for physiological adaptation as an outcome of training.
