If the opportunity to pursue research at a high level, with rank, salary, and benefits equivalent to Associate Professor (equivalent rank to Professor in North America) is attractive to you then please consider joining us.  The Exercise and Sports Science Research Group actively pursues research in a number of interrelated areas and wishes to appoint a Senior Research Fellow with expertise in one or more of the following areas: • Wellness in ageing • Muscle physiology • Exercise physiology • Biomechanics • Psychology and Sociology of Exercise & Sport

 

Intending applicants must be able to demonstrate they meet the essential criteria: PhD in a relevant field; strong track record of publication in quality peer reviewed journals; excellent ability to create research proposals and develop funding applications; established program of funded research in a relevant field; expertise in one or more of the areas listed above.  A willingness to participate in the School’s teaching programme is also required.

This position attracts remuneration of $AUD,491 to $AUD105,200 pa including University superannuation contribution, with a salary component of $AUD81,617 to $AUD89,915 pa.
