We are still planning on having a practice on sunday at IMS, but it has been
suggested that we also run a practice on friday (day after Thanksgiving...day
before Industry's race). Please let us know if you would like to practice on that
day. If we get enough interest it will be a go. A final decision will be made on
wednesday so please let us know asap. Thanks so much

If anybody does know of any USA Speedway publications please don't keep it a
secret, let us all know. In other words Paul, I don't think that there are any
current publications devoted to Speedway Motorcycles in the USA.

The matches versus Plymouth and Weymouth can be purchased from Tim Locke in the
UK for 13 pounds the pair including shipping (converts to $22). Email him at the
address below and he will email paypal request.

Plymouth was our first win of the tour and includes some great riding by all
including the Fishback fall, remount, pass and Fast Eddie inside, outside and
taking the fast lap contest. We lost at Weymouth though the racing was amazing
as referenced in last nights letter I posted on here.

Five weeks after we returned home, the buzz continues. If you see these DVDs
you'll know why!

I suspect he'd like an American or two on that team.

"it's near the end of the season. One or two keen promoters still want to run
meetings but they're running out of team fixtures. Dangerous business, putting
on these end of season fill ins when riders and equipment are near exhaustion.

Enter an eclectic bunch of seven men all the way from California aged between 16
and 50. Most have never seen UK tracks before, All are on borrowed equipment
(special thanks to Ermo, Johnno, etc) and unfamiliar with knowledge of set ups.
Sounds like a tough call for entertaining speedway.

The US Dream Team 2009 Tour just happened to feature the best racing anyone
could witness. They might not have won everything but their appetite for true
racing was in evidence every heat, especially when they were slow out of the
gate in their go for it style.

The final round of the tour at Weymouth was typical. They set fire to the track
at every opportunity at what could otherwise be a lacklustre end to the UK
season. With no track knowledge, tired machines and little chance to dial in,
they came at the home team from every direction and explored every inch of the
Radipole Lane track and I do mean every inch!

Roll on the 2010 tour and thanks for some great racing.

David Adams, Wessex Marine, England"

Just heard that there were plenty of dramas in Gladstone last night. Gino rode
within himself on a very difficult track. I believe he got two points.

Not sure how he felt about the setup at Gladstone, its a very big fast track,
with hardly any straights and a rock solid concrete wall.

The meeting was won by Englishman Joe Haines, with Mitchell Davey second, Hugh
Skidmore third and Tyson Nelson fourth.

Gino will be riding at my local track "North Brisbane" next weekend, where he
will take part in a 4 team event with five riders in each team, the track is
around the 400 metre mark, good racing surface.

The teams are;

Brisbane
1 Scott Smith
2 Tyson Nelson
3 Jon White
4 Harley Horwood
5 Todd Groves

Nth Qld
1 Josh Grajczonek
2 Mitchell Davey
3 Ashley Cathcart
4 Clinton Dennis
5 Mitchell Weismantel

NSW
1 Richard Sweetman
2 Alex Davies
3 Sam Masters
4 Ricky Wallace
5 Anthony Perks

International Young Guns
1 Jo Haines
2 Josh Auty
3 Gino Manzares
4 Adam Wrathall
5 Damien Koppe

across the line first and was always ahead throughtout every check-point, it
looks like Team Penhall was 2nd Overall losing to Team Honda...most likely about
100 little ticking seconds on a stop watch. Congratulations to Penhall,
Kawasaki, Wahoo's and Monster Energy in this extremely torturous desert classic.
See you all at Industry Speedway a week from tomorrow.

The teams are;

Brisbane
1 Scott Smith
2 Tyson Nelson
3 Jon White
4 Harley Horwood
5 Todd Groves

Nth Qld
1 Josh Grajczonek
2 Mitchell Davey
3 Ashley Cathcart
4 Clinton Dennis
5 Mitchell Weismantel

NSW
1 Richard Sweetman
2 Alex Davies
3 Sam Masters
4 Ricky Wallace
5 Anthony Perks

International Young Guns
1 Jo Haines
2 Josh Auty
3 Gino Manzares
4 Adam Wrathall
5 Damien Koppe

We can't wait to see the article.
Maybe a "gobsmacked" promoter will sign us up !!!!
Still some fast years left for the Sr. Citizen!

A very good move for Ricky in my opinion. Stoke is a racers track versus
Coventry that is mostly gate and go. Ricky is still eligible to double up or be
a #8 at Coventry or another Elite Track, and if he pulls off that he will be as
busy as Ryan Fisher was last year. Well done Ricky!

On the back of Gino being headline news in Australia, over a month after the
tour ended the Dream Team is still the buzz in Europe. Speedway Star this week
features a one page interview with 'Fast Eddie' Castro going over his 30+ year

The very first time I went to Costa Mesa (Spring Classid, 1998) I saw Eddie

Though it's not the only factor involved, I am utterly thrilled that the Dream
