Saints losing grip by selling at bat on eBay

First off, I love the St. Paul Saints organization and almost
everything they stand for, especially the cute pig and the
slogan "Fun is Good!" But… I'm starting to lose my cool. With five
days left the bidding is over $5,500! I'm sorry, but that is so far
out of the league of the average Saints fan. It's like seeing a
former Saints player in the Major Leagues! What? They've had over 10
players make it to the Bigs.
I just don't want to see some stuffed corporate exec upgrading to
first class and getting off the plane in a 3-piece Armani suit. Heck,
if that happens I want the Sioux Falls Canaries' pitcher to fire a
laser right under his chin and have `corporate boy' wet himself right
on home plate. What? Most Northern League pitchers don't have that
type of control over their pitches. Well I guess he could hit him in
the derrière. That should be a big enough target.
I want someone a little more nobler and more deserving. I want a
teacher, a Little League coach, truck driver or a waitress. Better
yet I want to see the Make A Wish Foundation to be the high bidder
and give it to someone who really, really deserves this once in a
lifetime gift.
As I step off my soapbox, the high bidder is `altx0022'. Man, I hope
that Mr. or Mrs. `altx0022' is not a tax attorney from Alabama.
