Eddie Pearson drove in the final five runs as Kansas City ended the St. Paul Saints' five-game winning streak with a 10-6 victory Friday night in front of 6,020 at Midway Stadium.
Chad Ehrnsberger drove in three runs, and Tim Marks had three hits for the Saints (5-3), who made three errors that led to six unearned runs.
St. Paul outhit the T-Bones 10-9, despite being without regulars Justin Hall (back) and Adam Olow (elbow). Kris Cox and Billy Munoz extended their season-starting hitting streaks to eight games in a row.
St. Paul took its first lead, 6-3, on Ehrnsberger's bases-loaded double in the sixth inning that broke a 3-3 tie.
But Saints shortstop Chris Weber booted Chad Hill's grounder in the next inning with runners on first and third, allowing a run to score. Ray Brown then singled in another run, and Pearson hit his fourth of the year.
