Any fans wishing to have a question submitted to Selig must visit the MLB website by 12:00 p.m. ET TODAY, Monday, July 8, 2002! May we suggest that you spend a moment and bombard Commissioner Selig with questions about labor negotiations and his thoughts on a Fan Strike?
PLAYERS TO VOTE ON STRIKE DATE TODAY
The MLBPA Executive Board meets in Chicago today to decide the fate of the season. While the media says that a strike date will be set, many players have said that they feel no date will be set. We'll have to wait and see who's right (or who's telling the truth). It is possible that the players could vote to strike but not set a date, putting all of your baseball vacation plans on hold.
MLB FAN STRIKE PRESS CONFERENCE IN MILWAUKEE TODAY
MLB Fan Strike will be teaming up with Baseball Fans Unite International and We The Fans for a press conference at the Embassy Suites West Attache Ballroom in Brookfield, WI today at 2:00 p.m. The groups are announcing a cooperative new plan where all three fan groups will support one another. They will unveil a more detailed strategy that involves a second fan boycott date on AUGUST 1, 2002.
