sp-saints : Message: Minnesota Sports Fans....you are needed now!

I am writing you this letter out of my love for the home team.

I have always been a home team supporter; I believe in keeping the Minnesota dollar here in Minnesota.

If you love sports like The Minnesota Wild, The Minnesota Vikings, The Minnesota Timber Wolves or

The Minnesota Twins then you need to step up to the plate and you need to do it now more than ever.

Yes, I am talking Minnesota Twins and I want to make clear that I am not talking dollars for Billionaires!

I am asking each and every one of you to think deep and hard about what we would like to do here.

Let me tell you a few things:

The Twins are a baseball team that is all about Minnesota... two- time world champions!

We are talking jobs....not just the players, but vender jobs, sports memorabilia jobs,

restaurant jobs and I am sure I am not getting them all.

We are talking 1,000's of jobs here in Minnesota and around the country,

plus we have to look at the economic impact that will happen if the Twins are lost and

could that mean that we would lose the Vikings as well?

Lets look at our record as well:

Minneapolis Lakers lost in the 60's took 20 years to get the NBA back

Minnesota North Stars lost in the 90's took 7 years to get the NHL back

Will we close our eyes again and lost MLB? If we do, I do not think we will ever get MLB back.

What about the Vikings? That too will never come back if they are lost.

Lets stop this now. All I ask you to do is to sign a petition to stop MLB from contraction.
