Coaches...
...The Southeast Youth Rowing Association is proud to bring you the following opportunity in corporation with C O A C H 2 | The Coach's Coach.
Thank you in advance for helping to improve our sport, especially starting in the SE region. By supporting consistent communication between coaches you are enabling and encouraging greater levels of training, education and development of those who dedicate themselves to the sport of rowing, including yourself.
First, we'd like to invite you all to dial in for a free teleclass on Tuesday, April 10th, 2007 at 8pm (EST) . During this hour-long conference call, we will interview a Div-I, NCAA women's rowing coach on the topic of training methodology. If you have any specific questions on that topic, please send via e-mail to info@... <mailto:info@...> .
Call lines will be limited to what we reserve in advance so if you plan to dial in Tues. 4/10 (8pm), please also send an e-mail to info@... so we can reserve the appropriate number of lines.
The Dial-in # and access code will be provided once reserved, and will be sent via e-mail to those requesting a spot. There is no charge to participate other than your normal fees to place a long-distance call.
Secondly, please feel free to suggest future topics for ongoing Teleclasses. Depending on interest and available presenters, we will continue to host them at a minimum on the 2nd Tuesday of every month; later...perhaps twice a month...or even weekly at some point down the road.
Lastly, we're looking to soon build an online community of coaches where you can exchange ideas and easily communicate with each other. The overall goal is that we all become better coaches of the sport of rowing, and better mentors to the athletes we lead. Help us create something awesome by letting us know what you'd like to see, hear, and have!
