Alec Dille attended last Thursday's hockey clinic and "lost" his stick.
Cyril said he would send out an email to see if anybody accidentally
took it with them. Could you send out a email as I think Cyril might
have forgotten to?

  (stick was an "Easton Synergy SL"  Blue and Silver Iginla stick )

Hey Jeff, I have his stick, I seperated my should at
the clinic last Thursday which will keep me from
playing hockey for a long while.  My brother
accidentally grabbed the wrong stick so someone has my
spare stick also.  I headed straight to the ER so I
did not see which one he had grabbed.  I or my brother
will bring it to the clinic this Thursday.  Thanks

We are having a skills clinic thursday night again, 10pm, 10 bucks on
the big rink.

We will also be having a open rat hockey @ 5:45 as well.  We still
need a goalies and a few more skaters.  Its 5 bucks and we will skate
for an hour.  If you can make it email me directly at

I also am arraigning rat hockey the wednesday night before
thanksgiving, and I will post the time next week here.

Guys every winter Ed Graff runs a rat hockey session at Howard park
Wednesday nights and at merrifield Friday nights.

The information is as follows.  Its Wednesday night at Howard park
8:45-10:15 from now until closing sometime in march, with the
exception of Dec 26th and Jan 2.

Merrifield time is 8:15-9:45 every Friday from now until closing in
march, with the exception Dec 28th and Jan 4th.


Right now he is looking for about 4 more guys for the Wednesday night
rat, and about 10 for the rat session on Friday.  Its $95 for the
season for either merrifield or Howard, or $190 for both.

Ed usually gives back a refund if there is any left over money.
If you're interested you should contact ed @ eg.612@... or
574-274-0521.  If you have never skated outside before in the cold,
its an experience to remember, especially when the temperatures drop
below zero.

Guys due to the low turnout this will probably the last night we do
this unless we more poeple.  Attendance has been weak, and its just not
worth it for cyril, or the ice box to continue this for 6 or 7 guys.

If we get a strong turnout tonight, we will reconsider.

snagged rink 1 (old rink)  from 8:15 to 10 thursday night.

A few of you guys didn't pay last time, so put your 5 bucks on the
bench, AND THEN go out on the ice.  I would like to just hand the money
over to the rink worker in one shot.  If you leave your wallet in the
car, bring 5 bucks in and put it on the bench.  I do this as a favor
for you guys, and 5 bucks is a deal.  Please make my life easier.

I need to goalies as usual, so if you can make it please let me know.
Everyone else can just show up.

I am looking for some help refereeing Sunday 1/6/07 if anyone would like to try
their hand at it. Currently I need someone for 6:45 and 7PM to work with either
Phil or myself.

Dear Hockey Members,



As I am sure that most everyone has already heard, Mary Morris lost
her life in a car accident Saturday coming home from the Indy MLK
games. She was returning early to get her daughter Jourdan home for
her first winter dance at Penn.



Both Jourdan and her friend Kara Sarvari continue to be hospitalized
in Fort Wayne . Jourdan is in fair condition and expected to come
home this week. Kara is in serious condition but will be hospitalized
longer with surgeries pending.



A few minutes ago I talked to Jim Morris , Jourdan was doing physical
therapy as we were speaking and doing much better than yesterday.
Kara was to have surgery on her back today Jim said.



Jim asked for us to tell everyone how much he appreciates the
outpouring of warmth and support that he has received from everyone.
He said it has been amazing and humbling.  Jim said that the way that
everyone has reached out has been sincerely appreciated and that it
will help his family make it through this very difficult time.



Visitation :  Tuesday   6:00-8:00pm

Funeral :   Wednesday  11:00am
