There will a beginners rat session on sunday 3/14 from 5 to 6:30.  Most of the
guys will be from the boot camp going on, and are total newbies.  We will have
goalies for the game.  We will be on rink one and the cost is 10 bucks a guy.  I
am not sure if I can make, dont count on me, but matt highbarger is going to
open it up to the first 24 guys that get back to him.  This is a lower paced
game, so if you are a beginner, or know how to play down contact matt. His email
is matt4irish@...  Bring a white and dark jersey if you have one, if
not some guys will have both.

Wednesday rat hockey will take place this week at 3:30 (although I won't be
there this week).  The Ice Box will be closed 3/31 through 4/10, so that's the
last Wednesday until after the break.  Mike Klute says it looks good for us to
continue the Wednesday 3:30 time slot through the summer, so we'll resume on
4/14.  (If there are any conflicts on the calendar, I'll try to give everyone
lots of notice.)

The Ice Box will be closed Friday April 2nd through Saturday April 10th for
Rink maintenance, painting and various other functions.

I was going to get a preseason scrimmage, but either it was too late, or for
some of the newbies playing back to back was too much.   Anyways saturday night
4/10 there will be a beginners rat from 10 to 11:30pm maybe 11:45.   I will be
opening and closing the rink so if you come early, you will have to wait for me
to arrive regardless.   I should be there around 9:35 give or take a few
minutes. Cost is 10 bucks and the first 20 to respond get to play.   I am also
looking for goalies if anyone is interested.   Goalies play free.

I will be away from my computer until tuesday night, so if you reply, I will get
back to you then.

Guys we still have slots for 10 more people saturday night.   We have goalies

Hey, folks, here's the schedule for rat hockey during Spring/Summer:
--Every Wednesday from 3:30 until 5 PM.
--Fridays from 1:15 until 2:45 ON THE FOLLOWING DATES (only these dates):
May 7
June 25
(and, depending on turnout, perhaps every Friday in July)

Cost is $10 (goalies free) and all are welcome on both Wednesdays and the two
Fridays listed above.  Please keep in mind that all skill levels are welcome and
we tend to be more "fun" than "competition" (especially on Wednesdays).  If
you're a super competitive guy (or gal), you may not find these sessions to your
liking.    Beginners, these are excellent sessions in which to practice and
improve.  You'll get lots of tips and instruction from your teammates on the ice
and on the bench.
