Guys I know we are way out here but there is open ice coming up in a few weeks

In december we have 9:30pm on friday the 4th, 3 or 3:15pm on saturday the 5th, 
5:15pm on saturday dec 19th. If someone will be there to collect I will secure
the ice time and get the word out.

These times are on my sabbath so I wont be there to collect or play.   If anyone
wants to set this up let me know and I will do the foot work.

Just another reminder pete bauer is running rat om wednesdays from 3:30 to 5pm.
Its 10 bucks and its open to all!!

Reminder, we have open rat hockey ($10, goalies free) this week:

Wednesday 11/11, 3:30 - 5:00 PM (Veterans Day -- if you're a vet, let me know!)

Friday 11/13 -- "Friday the 13th"!!!!!)) 1:00 - 3:00

  Wednesdays are a bit loose ("Wednesday at the Ice Box: It ain't hockey, but we
sure have fun!"); Fridays (when open) are a bit more competitive.  Anyone
showing up this Friday wearing a goalie mask, a jersey that says "Jason" on the
back, and carrying a machete MIGHT be sent directly to the penalty box.

Everyone (else) is welcome both days.

As you may have heard, the IYHL is putting on a winter fundraiser Saturday, December 5^th.  The night will feature Silent/Oral Auctions, Casino style games, Tip Boards, Dinner, Free Beer/Wine/Soda/Water and a Reverse Raffle with the last ticket drawn winning $1000.  We are only selling 350 tickets and at this point, they are going fast.  We are looking forward to a nice event and are encouraging guys to bring their wives too.

 

I have attached a flyer for the event and wondered if you could forward it to the men’s league and talk it up a bit.

Guys I know this is premature, but the ice is totally open on sunday december
27th and I was thinking of putting on another 3 on 3 tourney capped at only 10
teams that sunday.  Some guys showed interest, so I am anxious to put it on,
myself included.   I wont be scheduling regular league play that sunday.    If
you want to throw it out to your team and get back to me if you are interested
or have a team interested please let me know.  The sooner the better.

Same as always 230 a team 20 for goalies sunday 12-7pm beer and pizza included

Guys just confirmed there's open rat this Saturday from 3 to 5 pm with enough
time to be home for the nd game.     I won't be there so if someone can collect
money I would appreciate it.  Any goalies who want to play I will try and set
that up too

I am going to try and schedule more Rat sessions throughout the season. I still
have guys looking for teams and no place to put them so this is a way for them
to get in some ice time.

Subject: Notre Dame vs USC Tickets for HFL Tournament

I wanted to ask everyone if they would be interested in helping out the Hockey4life tourney by coming in to Frank's Place before thursday the 15th at 5:00pm to buy a raffle ticket.  They are $10 bucks each and 100% of the money goes to Bobby's Kids.  Bobby Smith was the Frank's Place Jokers goalie for 8 years and he died on the ice this spring, leaving behind two daughters and a grand daughter.  As you may or may not know, this years Hockey4life tourney, (Oct 23-25) is in Bobby's name.  BTW, the prize for the raffle is a pair of ND/USC football tickets donated by Jack Basich.  They are in sec 7, row 38, seats together. (30 Yard line, press box side)  GREAT PRIZE!!!!  The drawing will be next thursday the 15th at 5:00 pm at Frank's Place.  Winner need not be present and the game is Saturday the 17th.  Please stop by and support a great cause and get a chance to win some great tickets to what should be the best ND game of the year.

This Friday (10/2) and next Friday (10/9) are open rat hockey ($10) at 1:30 PM. 
After that, the kids are back and Fridays are again closed session.

Starting next week (10/7), Wednesday rat hockey moves to 3:30 PM.  Cost is $10
and Wednesday hockey is open at all.  We expect to stay in the 3:30 time slot

rat hockey sat night aug 29th 10pm

If you arent dead from the death laps mike mcneill puts you thru on saturday
evening at the clinic, I will run rat hockey saturday night around 10pm at the
rink.

I am opening up the rink so you will have to wait for me to get there.  I am
hoping to show up around 9:40 but possibly earlier.  I am capping it to 26
players so we dont get too crowded.  I have 2 goalies lined up.

If your interested please email me to reserve your spot.   I might not get back
to you until late thursday night, so dont panic.  something about working
getting in the way.

I would run rat more often, but the Under 18 team is practicing every night
until 9:45 and 10pm is late for a weeknight. I will try to get something going
before the season starts and will post the times here.
