I also have known Fiona for a very long time. I have been friends in particular,
with her sister Jane who I've known since school so we all go back to the
seventies, at least.
She was always a lovely natured girl - I never heard anybody say a bad word
about her.
I also went to their wedding reception at the stadium, it was a lovely evening
and I was glad to see the two of them so happy.
They liked their curries and my wife and myself sometimes met them in the
Ashoka in Johnstone - one of our favourite curry houses.
Occasionally they would have a party at their house in Houston, which would,
of course, turn out to be a fairly raucous occasion.
I think it's tragic that someone whowas only in her forties should be taken..
It seems strange to me (and certain others on this list) that this disease seems
particularly prevalent in Dumbarton and the Vale.
