Thanks Alan but the important thing was the money raised. I have done and
re-done the calculations. Adding up the ticket sales, auction and raffle/game
proceeds along with other donations and after paying the Radisson, the speakers
(of course Kit appeared free of charge) and other expenses, the total profit
from the evening was...............

What a great night in honour of the wee man yesterday.
A fitting tribute to a great servant of Dumbarton FC. A great big thank you to
the Testimonial Committee for all the events so far, but I think huge
appreciation is in order for Robert Ryan who sweated blood to make things
happen. Well done sir!
Special mention too for last night's speakers. Pat Rolink was hilarious with
Brian McGinlay, stepping in at the last minute just as good. But the best was
yet to come with david Carson's fitting speech to close the evening. Great
stuff.
