Qualification for medals   Message List

Hi all

Does anyone know details of how players qualified for medals for the various English competitions at all?

From what I understand, players who were named in the line-up (starting and subs) qualified for an F.A. Cup medal, and I assume the same is for players in League Cup finals.  Plus was it the same in European competitions?

However, how about finals that went to replays?  Was it just the players who played in the deciding replay, or players who appeared in all final matches?

Also, I beleive that Charity Shield medals were only given out to players who actually played in the match (i.e. unused subs missed out).

Finally, how did players qualify for league championship medals.  I've heard that they had to play in at least 10 matches, but I've also heard that it had to be 25% (including sub appearances)

Cheers

Steve Flanagan
