The Scott who played for Norwich City was Richard Sydney Arthur "Dick" Scott. He was born in Thretford on 26 October 1941, joingin Norwich city from Thretford Town in November 1958. He then moved to Cardiff City in July 1963 and stayed just over a year before a transfer to Scunthorpe United in September 1964. Almost 2 years later, in July 1966, he moved to his final League club, Lincoln City before finishing his career at King's Lynn.
