Chaps,
Does anyone have any details on the Gough Cup, which I know to have been staged circa 1937, 1938?
Some recent visitors to the Chelsea museum brought a medla and a story that their father played for Chelsea. If he did, it was for the reserves and his story is buried in the sands of time. But I would at least like to provide them with some information on how he earned his medal.
Any help appreciated.
Regards,

"sports book of the year" (Danny Kelly, TalkSport)
"...the Paul McGrath school of unputdownable, but unbearable, reads, but no less moving for that" (The Observer)
"a compelling read skilfully put together" (Oliver Holt, Mirror)
"one of the most powerful sports books ever written" (Pat Nevin)
