Having problems with message search?
In 1976-77 Coventry City had serious pitch problems and played only one home match between Christmas and the first Saturday in April. It resulted in 7 successive away matches, five of which were lost, and the team slumped from mid-table safety to having to get a result on the final day to stay up (in true Sky Blue fashion).
I'm afraid I don't know if it was a record.

I noticed that this season Brighton played five home league matches in
succession. Unusual but I guess far from unique. Does anybody out
there know which league club has played the most successive home (or
away) matches in the league?
