Here's Matteo, writing from Italy.
I am helping a friend of mine compiling a club histoy book.
I know that Folkestone played in the Anglo-Italian Tournament back in 1980: what
I would ask you is if you happen to have details relating to the match played on
30th April, 1980 (Folkestone-Mantova 1-0).
Italian daily papers are very sketchy about that fixture: all I know is that
Folkestone scored 7 minutes from time and that a Sauro Frutti's goal was not
allowed by the referee.
Could you please help me? Fokestone line-up, Mantova line-up, goalscorer,
attendance: each and every small piece of details would be moste welcome.
